We have stayed here twice in two weeks for two separate trips to San Bernardino on business. The pool and hot tub were drained, which was a disappointment. Quiet, peaceful area on top of a hill and away from the street. Overall, two very good experiences.

My in-laws live a very short distance from this location and we have stayed here numerious times, we have always had a great room and service. Our most recent visit has completely changed my opinion. The first two nights that we stayed here we had no problems, on our third night the clerk gave me a hard time during my check in due to the reservation being in my husbands name and him not being present. He had seen me with him during every other check in and the reservation was made using my credit card. When we returned hours later there was a new clerk and this time we were hassled about not knowing the tag number to our rental car, this information had been irrelavant during our previous check ins and on this night the lot was the emptiest it had been all week. To top it off he placed us in an older room where the fridge nor the air conditioner worked. We checked out the next day and found a much better hotel a short distance away. If you do stay here request to be on any floor but the first, there is a walkway on the South side of the building that could attract some crime.

Trains run all night and sound their horn each time they pass the hotel. The train tracks are about one block from the hotel. We did not get much sleep because of that. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. My side of the bed sagged.

the hotel elevator smelled like feet. In route to our room, there where young children running through the halls and stairwells. When we informed the clerk at the desk, his response was "Well I dont babysit." Our room key didnt work and we had to go back and forth to the desk to try to get a new one. After not being able to get into the room a third time, we finally decided to get a refund and stay at MOTEL 6 right next door. The best decision I ever made! Good location, horrible service

Very convenient to Ontario Airport, mountain resorts, casino, Cal State, shopping, fast food (no restaurant in hotel) etc. Ideal site close to highway 215, yet quiet, isolated and private (on a hill overlooking the area and with great views of the mountains). Pool is well sited, also with views of the mountains. Great value for vacationers looking for an affordable, restful central location in San Bernardino. I used the Days Inn as my homebase for visiting mountain resorts, casino and other attractions over a several day period.
